Will: Sorry I cannot be there with you, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. You have the comfort in knowing that your Mom is in heaven with Jesus. I am happy we came to see you and your Mom when we did a couple of years ago. I miss you. Love, Aunt Darlene

Dear Will, We are saddened by the loss of your mom. Even though she was very ill, there will be a great big hole in your life that nothing will fill. No one can say anything that will make the pain go away. Because we are mortals, we have only the perspective of heaven as a promise. We don't know what it's like. We have been told it is wonderful, and surely it is, but we have to believe that it is and sometime seeing and believing aren't always the same thing. There are many people there that your mom is now reunited with.... Hopefully, that will someday be a comforting thought, but right now I'm sure you'd still rather have her here with you. It's selfish I know, but that's how I feel many times yet. My mom passed away in April. I would have wanted her to see me retire, our little Maddie's kindergarten graduation...all the sparks in our life. Your mom was only two years older than me...We were going to come and see her & you this fall, now that I had retired we'd have time to take a road trip. God's plans and ours don't always SEEM to mesh; yet His plans are perfect. We just need an extra dose of his grace to get through it and we know that, in most cases, we won't understand God's timing on this side of heaven. Please know that you are loved and your mother was loved. She was so proud of you. She'd want you to be happy and to invest yourself in others like she did. Love begets love. I know she taught you well. She was very strong; I'm sure right to the end. If there had been anything to keep her on this earth it would have been you, but her time was up, and she trusted that you would be okay, and took the Savior's hand when He reached out to her. I know what her last words to you...she said, "Be there, Will, be there". And I trust that you will be when that time comes. And what a day that will be!! Phyllis & Marty Pokela & family

I was saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. I know she was not in good health - she was a fighter. Her and I were very close cousins when we grew up and we had a lot of fun times together and wonderful memories. She was a lot of fun to be with. I know she loved you so much, Willie. You were her pride and joy. Just be comforted to know that she is at peace now and with her Lord and Savior. No more pain and suffering. Our prayers are with you and may God comfort you. Keep in touch with the family, Will. Love, Karen
