Harry Winfred James, Sr., 63, of Hixson passed away Monday, June 1, 2009 in a local hospital. Mr. James was a veteran and served our country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda K. James. Survivors include his sons, Sonny James of Chattanooga and Scott James of Hixson; daughter, Sabrina Heise of Deland, FL; nephew, Rick (Patti) Dodd of Hixson and three grandchildren, Ashton, Mikayla and Braxton James. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 5, 2009 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
