Obituary of James Clifford Hall

James C. Hall, 76, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at his residence ending his battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. James honored his country by serving in the United States Army and retired from TVA, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Hall, Lola Stewart and step-father, Velt Stewart; brother, Leonard Hall; son, Russ Hall and step-daughter, Doris Dyer. He is survived by his loving wife, Leona Hall; step-brothers, Clifford, Hershel, Herbert and Billy Stewart; sons, Chris and Jeff; brothers, Wilburn Hall and Chester Stewart; sisters, Melodean, Nellie, Lillian and Sara; step-children, Debra, Doris, Larry, Garry, Kathy and Pam; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2009 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Bolton officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Jessica and Anita and Rev.
