Obituary of Karol Jean Fowler

Karol Jean Fowler, 68, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 in an area hospital. Mrs. Fowler was a long time resident of Hixson before moving to Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia for twenty years. After her retirement she and her husband, Joe moved back to Soddy-Daisy. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Joe Fowler of Soddy-Daisy; son, David Fowler of Portland, OR; daughters, Resa Bradeen of Portland, OR; Jill Vawter of East Ridge, Mary Mosley of Hixson and Debi Fowler of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Patty Hinton of Nashville and Mary Elder of Louisville, KY; A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM. The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to Catholic Charities.
