Obituary of James Farris Lovelady

James Farris Lovelady, 71, of Hixson passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 in an area healthcare facility. Mr. Lovelady was employed with Combustion Engineering for a number of years. He was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Lovelady, step-father, Walter Blancett and brother, Wayne Alton Lovelady. Mr. Lovelady is survived by his mother, Dorine Varner Blancett of Hixson and sister Brenda Lovelady of Hixson, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN.
