Obituary of Marjorie Kathleen Edmaiston

Marjorie Kathleen Edmaiston, 82 of Hixson passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 in an area hospital. Marjorie was a member of Red Bank Church of God and a former employee of K-Mart in Hixson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Benge; parents, Ernest and Emma Riley; sister, Frances Hall; three infant brothers and great-granddaughter, Sharon Howard. Survivors include her sons, Robert Benge of Lockport, IL, John Benge and Douglas Benge both of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Sue Peckinpaugh of Hixson; Joyce Boston of Saunemin, IL; Pam Pantoja of Minooka, IL and Karen Smith of Casey, IL; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Calvin Nunley and Bishop Wallace Angel officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
