Obituary of Gary Lynn Reynolds

Dr. Gary L. Reynolds, 59, of Chattanooga passed away Monday morning, March 2, 2009. He was a 1968 graduate of Central High School, a 1975 graduate of The University of Tennessee Medical School and was Board Certified. He was a partner in the 'Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Group' in Memphis. Gary was also a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve. Dr. Reynolds was loved by his patients and friends because of his exceptional skills as a surgeon and unique sense of humor. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Hatchie Coon Hunting Club and The Memphis Retriever Club. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Vasco Reynolds. Survivors include his wife, Patty Reynolds of Cleveland, TN; sons, Sam Reynolds of Knoxville; daughter, Sarah Reynolds of Chattanooga; grandson, Christian Reynolds of Knoxville and brother, Boyd K. Reynolds of East Brainerd. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to your favorite charity in his name. Gary's request was that everyone raise a toast in his remembrance.
