Obituary of Marion L. Brown

Marion L. 'M.L.' Brown, 78, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at his home. He served his country in the United States Army in Korea and earned the rank of Sergeant. Mr. Brown retired from 3M Company as a resident engineer after thirty four years of service. He was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and enjoyed working in his yard and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lola Mae Brown; son, Thomas Boyd Brown; brothers, Bob, Chester and James Brown. Survivors include his wife, Deanna Weekley Brown; son, Peter M. Brown of Harrison; daughter, Sabra J. Brown of Houston, TX; brother, Bill Brown of Soddy-Daisy; and five grandchildren. The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 2525 de Sales Ave. Chattanooga, TN 37404-3322.
