Robert "Bob" Terrell Garrison, 75, of Hixson passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015. Mr. Garrison retired from TVA. He was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1958, a veteran of the United States Army, a charter member of Dallas Bay Lions Club and a charter member of Daisy Dallas Lions Club and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Juanita Garrison. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Garrison of Hixson; daughters, Sister Imelda Garrison, O.P. of Nashville; Amanda Schmidt of Lexington, KY and Margaret Garrison of Hixson; brothers, Ronald E. Garrison of Hixson and Steven R. Garrison of Chattanooga. grandchildren, Greta, Isaac and Anita Schmidt. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:30am Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Monsignor Al Humbrecht officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. Visitation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, McKamey Animal Center or the charity of your choice.
