Obituary of James W. Bailey

J.W. Bailey, 79, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shelby Jean Bailey and his parents, Robert Lane and Maggie Jane Hackney Bailey and many more of his loving family members. He is survived by his sons, W. Tommy (Reńe) Bailey; Kenneth (April) Bailey and Rodney (April) Bailey and daughter, Shirley Smith, all of Soddy-Daisy; three sisters, a brother, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chuck Morris, Pastor Tim Millsaps and Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
