Obituary of Zelma Mae Gamble

Zelma Mae Gamble, 87 of Hixson passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Zelma was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Gamble and son, Jimmy Ray Gamble. Survivors include her sons, John Henry Gamble, Ernest Wayne Gamble, George William Gamble, Roy Cleveland Gamble and Ronald Dean Gamble; daughters, Naomi Brooks and Sue Parrish; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchidren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee 37379.
