Obituary of Jimmie Ruth Johnson

Jimmie Ruth Johnson, 82, of Soddy-Daisy went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in an area hospital. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church . Her favorite thing in life was being a Grandma.
She is survived by her husband of sixty three years, Wayne M. Johnson; sons, Michael Wayne (Tammy) Johnson of Soddy-Daisy and David Alan (Vicky) Johnson of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Robyn (Jay) Walston, Jodie Johnson Parus, Andie (Zach) Houchins and Hope Johnson; great-grandsons, Gray Walston, Jones Walston and Cameron Parus.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David McNabb officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday and 10:00 AM until the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
