Ambrose Johnson (A.J) "Bud" Troxler, 84, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his home. Mr. Troxler was a partner and owner of Lucey Boiler Company since 1961. He was a member of St. Elmo Presbyterian Church since his childhood and attended Second Presbyterian Church. He attended the University of Chattanooga and UT Knoxville. Survivors include his wife, Maxine York Troxler; sons, Steve (Guelda) Troxler and Craig (Shirley) Troxler; grandchildren, Allen Turner, Stephen Troxler, Travis (Emily) Troxler, Will Troxler, Tiffany (Jim) Burroughs, Michelle (Cory) Davidson and great grandchild, Landon Troxler. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Perry McCallen officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9pm on Tuesday and from 9am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to Chattanooga Community Kitchen, St. Matthews or the charity of your choice.
