Ulysses Mysinger, 82 of Hixson passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at his residence. He retired from Card Monroe Corporation where he had made many friends through the years. Ulysses was also known to many people as "Santa" because he had spent many years playing the part. He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Vieva Mysinger; stepfather, three sisters, and two brothers. Survivors include his wife Mary Mysinger; daughters, Connie (Gary) Frazier, Soddy-Daisy, Linda Wisner, Red Bank, Angel (Jim) Brooks, Hixson; sister, Eva Mae Jeffries, Soddy-Daisy; brother, B. R. (Dink) Mysinger, Ooltewah; grandchildren, Clyde Jr., Ricky, Adam, Dewayne, Tonya, Wesley, Jonathon, and Elizabeth; six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 PM Tuesday and 12 - 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
