Obituary of Monika Rommel Shattuck

Monika Elaine Rommel Shattuck, 83, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023.
Monika was born in Hanover, Germany and made her way to Soddy-Daisy by meeting her former husband, Leon in 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed traveling the world with Leon to places such as Germany, Paris, and Belgium. She was a self-employed motel owner, who enjoyed snow skiing, golfing, and working in her yard.
She is survived by her best friend, Leon Shattuck; step-sons, Lonnie and Jeff Shattuck; brother-in-law; Hon. Clarence Shattuck; and sister, Anita who still resides in Germany.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Hon. Clarence Shattuck officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
