Brenda Faye Mincey
Brenda Faye Mincey, 81, of Sequatchie, TN passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in a local hospital.
She was a former employee of the Chattanooga Public School System and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Laxton Lamar Gamblin, son, Eddie Dejuan Gamblin, parents, David and Helen Mincey, Sr., sisters, Aileen and Sue Ricketts, brothers, Dillard, Leonard, Maynard, David, Jr., Freddie Ray, J. C., Larry and Lloyd Mincey.
Survivors include her sons, Terry Lamar Gamblin and James Edward Henry, brother, Rickey Mincey, sister, Charlotte Reed and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
