Obituary of Bobby Radford

Bobby Radford Bobby Radford, 84, of Hixson, TN passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 in a local hospital. He was a U. S. Navy Retiree and retired from TVA in the security department. He was a member of Soddy-Daisy United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He volunteered at the Soddy-Daisy Food Bank for 16 years where he received the Jefferson Award. He enjoyed studying, reading and computer work and was an accomplished wood craftsman making dulcimers and many other wooden furniture items. Bobby was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Belinda Haywood, parents, James A. and Evie A. Radford, brothers, Melvin and Billy Radford and sister, Louise Clark. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Delores Radford, son, James Leonard (Jennifer) Radford, daughter, Sherry Judd, three grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A Gathering of Friends will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
