Obituary of Cleo Galyon Woods

Cleo Galyon Woods, 90, of Rossville, Ga. passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014. She was a member of South Rossville Baptist Church and retired from Hills Department Store in Chattanooga, TN. She was preceded in death by parents, Marion and Alice Galyon; husband, Warren Harding Woods; brothers, Bronce & F.M. (Shorty) Galyon; and sisters, Bonnie Crabtree, Mary Sue Simpson, Jessie Murray and Gladys Whaley. Survivors include two special twin nieces, Glenda Snider of Hixson, Tn and Brenda (David) Dockins of Cleveland, TN and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ted Painter officiating. Interment will follow in Edgemon Cemetery in Ten Mile, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
