Obituary of Laura Geneva Gann

Laura Geneva Gann, 88, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Easter Pendleton; father and mother, Frank and Mary Lemons Pendleton; husband, Floyd O. Gann; sisters, Margaret McCampbell Mathis, Virginia Tucker, Vera Pendleton; and brother, Burk Pendleton. Survivors include her daughters, Marcia Ingle, Maryville, TN, Wanda Black, Soddy-Daisy, TN; sisters, Ella Bell, Spring City, Myrtle (Gene) Turner, Indiana, Carol (Ron) Barzyk, Nashville, Ima Jane Pendleton, Spring City; brothers, Eugene (Betty) Pendleton, Spring City, Glenn (Carol) Pendleton, Indiana, Bill Pendleton, Woodbury, TN, and Robert (Pam) Pendleton, Dayton. Services will be at 11 AM Friday in the chapel with Rev. Ted Painter officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park with Gary, Gabe, and Justin McCampbell, Kevin and Wesley Horne, and Craig Homar serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3 - 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Caris Healthcare, Carrie, Hope, Michelle, Sue, Christina, Sharon, Laurel, and Elizabeth for the tender loving care they gave to our mother.
