Obituary of Bobby Ables

Bobby Glenn Ables, 65, a lifetime resident of Soddy-Daisy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2013. He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church. His passions in life were hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He had a heart of gold and was willing to help anybody that he could, anytime. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ruth Ables and Coy Ables; sisters, Phyllis Ables Hendon and Bobbie Ruth Ables. Survivors include his brothers, Ricky and Jerry Ables; sisters, Joy Ables and Carolyn Eustice; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Bobby’s special caregivers, Hearth Hospice and Susie Sunderland. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Granny Walker Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Assembly Church, 9610 Barbee Road Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
