Obituary of Joyce Holcomb

Joyce Holcomb, 89, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at her home.
She was a local hairdresser for 35 years and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flowers and doing yard work, canning food and spending time with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Holcomb, son, Allen Landreth, parents, William Taylor and Mary Delta Lee Wilson and siblings, Jean Smith, Elaine Dodd and Stanley Wilson.
Survivors include her sons, Edward (Sharon) Landreth and Michael (Jennifer) Landreth, brother, James "Pete" (Mary) Wilson, sister, Lucy Penney, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with family acting as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
