Obituary of Julia Sellers Hailey

Julia Sellers Hailey, Born in 1927 in Baxley, Georgia , she attended Georgia State Woman’s College in Valdosta, Georgia and later graduated from Crawford W. Long Hospital School of Nursing in Atlanta and Charity Hospital School of Anesthesia in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was employed at Vincents Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida before coming to Lookout Mountain, Tennessee in 1955. She was a volunteer for many years with Parkridge Hospital and Saint Barnabas Nursing Home. She was proceeded in death by her husband, William Kelso Hailey; three brothers, Collier and Frank Sellers, from Baxley and Herschel Sellers of Lookout Mountain; and two sisters, Willanelle Wilcox, Crescent City, Florida and Esta Fredrikson, Marrietta, Georgia. She is survived by one sister, Betty Bennet of Metter, Georgia, and four children. Mitchell S. Hailey (Carter), Kenneth L. Hailey (Jennifer), Joseph S. Hailey (Lisa) and Julie Hailey Clark (Bruz). She is also survived by four grand children Elliott, Elizabeth, Parker and Mitchell.
