I am Ronnie‘s sister, I miss my brother very much. He had a long hard life in relationships, drugs, and his newfound family the Green, James family. I did not get to attend his funeral because his so-called wife threatened to call the police on us any of his family members that showed up. I am a firm believer that this woman poisoned him till he died. Then she married my daughter‘s uncle on her daddy side and has done him the same way. He was on his deathbed until he got away from her and now he is better. I would love to bring charges up against her for murdering my brother. I am in the process of working on that now. He was a great guy. He loved his family his blood family. He loved playing football in his teen years. He loved working on cars he loved painting. He was in the process of getting sober when he passed. But his so-called wife was poisoning him with the drugs that he was trying to get off of. I celebrate his birthday every year and his death date every year, but I am not allowed to go to his graveside in fear that his so-called widowed wife will retaliate against me. I made a flower arrangement for him, put it on his grave and two weeks later, her eldest daughter Paige set my car on fire. I haven’t been back to his grave since. God has forgiven his sins, and I am sure he has been accepted into God‘s grace. His tombstone has none of his blood relatives names on it, nor his father or his mother only her her new husband and her children, she didn’t even get his middle name correct on his tombstone.

Up on the roof I was out of a job. Pete was a painter. I told him if he ever needed help to let me know. So he show's up @ my house one day & said "Come on girl lets see what cha got" I said "What are you talking about?" He said " You know how to paint? Well we will see." We stopped @ the Stone Cup in North Chatt. and sat and drank a cup of his favorite coffee. Then off to the painting job. So here we go.He takes me to this house pulls out a 40 ft extension ladder. He knew I HATED ladders. He always made fun of me because of it. He said"Well let's get to painting".I thought you have got to be kidding me. He had me up on the roof. Hanging over the eaves, painting 30 ft up in the air. I wasn't about to tell him I was scared to death. He just kinda laughed @ me all day. Saying "I thought you could paint." "We're just painting" Whats wrong?"It was so hot on the roof. He said "Let's go grab lunch". We crawled down from the roof and went to the Golden Gallon. Ya he went all out. We had 2 hotdogs. Chips & a coke. We went to the little park there in North Chatt. We ate lunch and just hung out a while and then he pushed me in the swing. Then we finished painting and he took me home. We had a blast that day & i will never forget it. That is my best memory of Pete. We always did have fun. We had the same personality. We laughed a lot. But that was a special day for Pete & I. I will never forget him pushing me in the swing. We were like little kids. I will miss you. R.I.P Pete <3

Ronnie Dale Downey He was a good guy alway's wanting to help those less fortunate than himself. In the end it took his short life from him.All in all He loved his Sister, and brothers, and neices, and nephews,His family was his life at one time, his Mother meant the world to him and I believe he just gave up on life when she passed,he felt like he had no real reason to go on.Ronnie has three living Brother's and three living Sister's and serveral Neice's and Nephew's.And in the end he knew he was going on to be with His Mother,Father and His favorite Uncle Boots, because he made his round's to all the Family He could to say he was sorry for the sorrow he had caused everyone in the past. That let me know he was fixing to go on home to his Family in God's Heaven. We love u Ronnie Dale Downey and Miss u lot's.

Pete seemed to be a very caring and loving man. During his short life he touched many. Please allow these words to comfort you. "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his(Jesus) voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life." John 5:28.
