Earl George Demers “Pa”, 84, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Friday, November 04th at his daughters home in Wildwood GA. He was born in Vancouver British Columbia becoming a US Citizen in 1957 when he joined the United States Army. Earl was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas Demers and Phyllis L. Demers, 3 beloved sisters… Jacqueline, Jeannie and Carole. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Mary Anna Demers, son, Mike Demers and daughter Kathy Millsaps, Grand children Timmy Millsaps, Nicole Millsaps, Connie Millsaps, Jenna Conrad, Nathan Demers. Earl was beloved by all who knew him and carry with them many fond memories of his humor, love of golf, camping, hiking, fishing and all things outdoors. He was known as “Pa” to any who knew him and G-Pa to his 5 Great Grandchildren. If you met him, you loved him and all who met him loved being around him, well possibly with the acceptation of some umpires and refs at his grandson Nathan’s baseball and football games. He was married to his loving wife, Mary “Ma” Demers for over 60 years and in his final days he looked forward to seeing the Lord and his family after passing. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga with Pastor Tim Millsaps and Pastor Robert Benoun officiating. Earl & Mary’s wishes are for their children and grandchildren to take a future trip upon the passing of Mary to the Eastern Sierra Mountains to disperse their ashes into Long Lake just outside of Bishop California. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 from 3:00pm to 5:30pm at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga located at 3415 Broad Street, Chattanooga TN 37409. PLEASE DRESS CASUAL, “Pa” was not a suit guy. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Renew Ministry of Calvary Chapel Chattanooga helping men and women recovering from addictions.
