Robert “Butch” Jett, 61, formerly of Hixson, TN, resided in Scottsboro, AL, went to his heavenly home on April 29, 2021. Butch served in the United States Navy for 4 years after graduating from Soddy Daisy High School in 1977. He retired from Northfolk Southern Railroad as a Signal Maintainer in 2012. His favorite hobbies were dirt track racing, music, and watching his grandkids play baseball. He loved the Lord, his family, and friends the most. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl Jett; son, Kyle (Lauren) Jett; daughter, Kaci (Ken) Campbell; grandsons, Logan, Jett, and Easton Campbell; soon to be granddaughter, Emerson Jett; mother, Arlene Jett; sister, Donna Selvey; brother, Randy Jett; a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William R Jett; grandparents, Pauline and Melton Kennedy, and Hazel and Robert W Jett; Mother and father in law, Judy and Don Gibson. There will be a graveside service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:30 P.M.
