Charlotte Jett Branum, 70, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, May 8, 2006, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Branum Sr.; parents, Robert Wade Jett and Hazel Smith Jett; sisters, Flora Branum and Evelyn Garrison; and brothers, Bill Jett and Joe Jett. She is survived by sons, David Branum and Nolan (Darlene) Branum, both of Soddy-Daisy; daughters, Debbie (David) Rollins, of Whitwell, TN, Evelyn (Larry) Johnston, of Rossville, and Tonya Branum, of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Mary Catheren Lee, of Decatur, TN, and Elma Jett; brother-inlaw, James Cole, of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of the funeral home with Bishop Larry Lindsey officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN 37416, Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379, phone (423) 843-2525.
