Voula Nicolou, 76, of Chattanooga passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in an area hospital. She was born in Zermpisia Greece on March 10, 1941 before immigrating to the United States. She owned and operated Old South Restaurant for many years in Chattanooga. Mrs. Nicolou was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Nicolou; significant other, Nick Dimos. Survivors include her son, Dino Nicolou; daughter, Helen Nicolou- Killebrew; brother, Paul Nicolou; grandchildren, Skye (Chuck) Clowdus, Cody (Anneliese) Cruse, Alexander (Jessica) Nicolou and Yanni Killebrew; great-grandchildren, Brynlee Cruse, Nyx and Atlas Nicolou. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Father Stavros Ballas officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday with a Trisagion service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
