Obituary of Wilma Jean Hood

Wilma Jean Hood age 81, of Chattanooga passed away on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, at Soddy Daisy Healthcare Center. She was the mother of 8 children.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Jonah and Mary Bell Martin, husband; Walter Hood, Jr., and son; Jaques Hood.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Walter, Woody, and Jerry; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hankins; grandchildren; Kayla, Richard, and Bradley Gage and several others. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren including Jaxon and Justus Hood.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5PM -8PM on Monday at the funeral home.
