Obituary of Wayne Elton Roberts

Wayne Elton Roberts, 71, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his home. Mr. Roberts retired from TVA after twenty years of service. He was a fishing boat captain and Merchant Marine captain in Pompano Beach, Florida. He attended Stuart Heights Baptist Church and was a member of Soddy Lodge #418 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.R. and Jewell Roberts; sister, Dorothy Baker; brother, Ed Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Roberts; son, Chad (Laura) Roberts; daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Neighbors and Ronda Duncan (Darryl) Maraman: brothers, Earl "Bud" (Shirley) Roberts and Charles (Lillian) Roberts; sisters, Ann (Roy) Conger and Linda Conger; grandchildren, Jon, Geneva, Lauren, Taylor, Chandler and Bentlee; several nieces and nephews.
All services will be private.
